It’s no longer news that the fashion industry is polluting industries in the world, yet efforts at mitigating this damage seems inadequate. While there’s a rise in the consciousness of this fact, the African continent still remains an overwhelming dumping site for unsaleable second hand fast fashion clothings that end up rotting in the landfills. Because we at Fabulousbyteemah are proponents of social and environmental change, we are commited to transforming this problem into opportunities. Fabulousbyteemah is a sustainable women’s wear brand. Our aim is to meet the clothing needs of women at every phase of life with zero waste practice in mind. This is achieved by reusing fabrics, designing with geometric cutting, using durable materials and a standard 1.5 inch seam allowance that allows clients to resize when they gain weight without having to discard. Our goal is to increase sustainability awareness one at a time, which is why we also offer paid internship with the aim of refining already acquired fashion skills to align with sustainability in the fashion industry
